I am an amateur tuba player here in Southern Cal, and had Alan do some
work on my Miraphone while he was here. (Dent removal, leadpipe repair,
and valve venting). I am by nature very curious, and he was quite
patient and knowledgeable about answering all my questions and explaining
what he was doing and why.
He struck me as definitely outgoing but pleasant, and if I was looking for a teacher,
for college Alan would definitely be on my list.
