My best friend went through basic as a member of the U.S. Air Force. During the first week he was there, his drill sergeant caught him buzzing a mouthpiece that he had hidden in his pillow (don't ask...I don't know). He got blasted for the rest of his stay at basic because the "real" soldiers didn't appreciate the "lazy fatboys" in the band. My friend was 6"ft. even and weighed 160. Nevertheless, he was the base's only "lazy fatboy" until the day he left. Go figure....
