Anxiety is a way to get your body ready to flee but the energy for that can be channelled in to the performance, too and enhance it. Welcome the "butterflies" and use the extra shot of adrenalin to give you more energy. Then, imagine the worst thing that could happen (your shorts get knotted, you get tongue tied and can't articulate, you drop your horn, etc.). See if you are alive after you imagine these things. If you are, then there is not much to worry aout if they actually happen, is there? Now deal with the serious stuff, like good tone, breathing and the like. Best of Luck.
