If you go to church, or at least aren't against going to church, play as often there as you can. Talk to the music director or choir director and let them know you're interested. You'd be surprised how much of a response you get. It's a great way to get to play in front of people VERY often. A lot of time, you're not the focus of attention either (playing during communion, offeratory, postlude, etc.), and that also helps.
