I love Sanders' sound and in NO way was indicating anything negative about his playing...just didn't know if he was playing in '84 with St. Louis--I know there were quite a few subs and what all back in the early 80's (I was even was there for the audition along with the other 100 or so tubists and put in my two cents of playing behind the screen!)...anyway, it's an RCA recording that I'm going to try to locate--interesting tempos, and great tuba!
