I recently picked up a 2 CD set of a whole bunch of John Williams' "greatest hits" from Best Buy and I was wondering who played tuba on the Saving Private Ryan hymn. The playing is absolutely beautiful and the rest of the set has some excellent playing as well. I recommend it for those who just like an ocassional taste of John Williams music. The bass trombone playing on the olympic theme is also amazing in the fact that is can really get your blood pumping. Thanks for your repsonses.
