Actually the fifth valve on a BBb is not really neccesary. yes I know you don't have a low B natural, but the other optional fingerings work for as little as you will go down there. it is not as critical as it is on a CC where you need the fifth valve for a good low F which is a pretty commonly used note. Or Eb or F tubas where tyou really play in that range of the horn much more often. Just my $.02 worth. But if you really feel you need one check out the options listed above or check out a big Besson 993 (not sure of the exact model #)BBb with the compensating four valve system. If you like pistons versus rotors this may be a good option for you. ken k
