Hello.
I have an old Mirafone 186 BBb tuba that I believe is somewhere around 20 years old. When I was having worked on, the guys fixing it said they couldn't find the serial number on it. There is a 4-digit number under the "MIrafone" label on the bell, but they said that wasn't it. The only number on the horn is an "82" stamped on every valve.
Which (if either) is the serial number? IF it is neither, how do I determine it?
