Could you elaborate alittle more on the fact that the stand made your neck and shoulders ache. I am right now suffering from neck pains everyday. I thought maybe it was my pillow so I got a new one and still same thing. I play a 6/4 CC and a 981 B&H. Only thing I can think of is that the leadpipe is in an odd place for me on one of these horns. I too have been messing around with one of those DEG stands , going back and forth to see if it makes a bgi enough difference for me to use it exclusively but am still not sure. Wish I could figure out why my neck hurts everyday.
