Rodger Vaughan has a nice duet for tuba and clarinet. The title
of the piece is "Quattro Bicinie". It was written in 1967. A four
movement work, it is pretty well liked by folks in the audience, i.e.,
it's not too "out there", etc. In fact, it's quite tonal.

I have done it on a couple of chamber music recitals with a clarinet
buddy of mine, and it went over well. The tuba part is definitely on the
upper end of the "challenge" spectrum - I would say it is best suited for
the college/professional player. The clarinet part requires a *good*
player as well. I would say that it is more of a challenge "pound for pound"
than the tuba part. A lot of rapid, extreme range stuff.

I have no publisher, etc., information listed on the set of parts that I
have. Hope this helps.

Good luck -

Kelly O.
