I heartily agree with The Lurker and Randy Mac. You would be hard pressed to spend less money on a mouthpiece and have anything more versatile than the Doug Elliott. I've used a Doug Elliott for a few years and love it!! Be sure to tell him what vintage Miraphone you have. I have had a problem with a difference in the shape of the older receivers vs the more recent ones which seem to taper more quickly making the older Miraphone taper shanks wobble slightly in the newer horns. I haven't seen a recent catalog in 2-3 years so he may have addressed this in more recent shank tapers. Have fun!
