I would make two suggestions for etude books that don't seem to get much air time but are great for the advanced player. First, the "Low Etudes for Tuba" by Phil Snedecor is a great book. It really is a set of very musical etudes that will test your flexibility and speed in the very low range. Another book I like is "Douze Soli en forme d'Etudes pour Tuba" by Pierre Max Dubois. These 12 etudes are a great workout for the high range on CC tuba and are really interesting pieces as well. Both of these books also have some fairly difficult technical issues to address so they really cover alot of ground in the practice room. Enjoy!
