I'll "third" the vote for the 3302. I handily took care of a wind ensemble concert all by my lonesome (the other tubist thought we were playing at 5:00 instead of 4:00!) and was convinced that I'm sounding better than I did last year with either my old horn or my former roommate's 186. Heavens knows what would have happened if I had a PT-7.... (which makes me want to see a BBb version of that PT-7)

I also liked the Mirafone 191 at the Ft. Myer conference -- still sounded like a Mirafone (good or bad, your choice), but a lot clearer than Mirafones usually are. Nice horn, but no 5th, if that's important.

BTW, how closely related is the 3301 to the PT-2 piston BBb? Same factory, I know, but why the change in designation? They look the same, play the same, sound the same, and tune the same -- is there really a difference?
