David's right about the VMI 3301. I played this horn at the Brasswind and was amazed at the tone, intonation, high and low register, and its overall playability. I would recommend it; either the 4-valve 3301 model or 5-valve 3302. Also, I just returned from the Army Tuba-Euphonium Conference and played on the new Miraphone 191BBb......talk about a sweet horn! This is another tuba worth looking into.
