Mr Jacobs was asked this during a masterclass. He stated that a double buzz was not an emouchure problem but that the embouchure is set to a pitch different that what the horn wants to accept. For example if the fingerings on the horn are set to C and the embouchure is set to D, in certain cases a double buzz will occur.

This of course goes into a physcological thing that the "song" must be properly set up!
