I have been thinking for this venture for a while, tell me what you think about it...

My in-laws buy lots of antique type furniture, and a few years ago, they got ahold of a real ornate brass bed. After a bit of rubbing themselves, they decided that this was going to be a much larger job than they thought, so they located a fellow in Lexington, Ky that could dip & strip the thing. He also relacquered it....

Now, I am not sure this will work on an instrument, but I have considered trying it on an old baritone I have.

I would think that special precautions should be taken to prevent stuff from getting into the valves and other places it doesn't belong. He plugged the end of the bed sections somehow, so this shouldn't be a problem.

Soooo, lemme know how you come out and I may try it on my baritone. It plays alright, just kinda looks awful .
