I'll take it back if you don't like it! Anyway, I make large bass trombone size mouthpieces ($130) that would work for very small mouths, and "contrabass trombone" size mouthpieces ($170) that are smaller rims than any standard tuba mouthpieces- I would suggest my 120 rim (1.20" inside) and P cup (depth of Bach 18, but much smaller rim). That size would be quite manageable for a young student. Try it- if it doesn't work, send it back! 301-871-3535
