Personally I love the 2165. And I own a 2155 and use it for everything. From quintet to even in an orchestral setting. The tone is exceptional. Although the assembly of the 2155 about two years ago was a bit on the "rough" side. There are solder(spelling)blobs found in some of the tuning slides. But these horns still play incredible. They just need some TLC from your local repairman. Intonation is outstanding. I have found only one out of tune note on the horn! It so happens the alternate fingering fixed that. Like Sean I find the PT-6P an awesome horn. But for the value no horn company can beat the Meinl-Weston 2155.
