Yup, it's the same for me.

I see a low E once in a great while, and a low Eb actually more often. The only time I've ever seen anything lower than that was an ossia 8va basso, and that's an option I avoided on that one occasion for the betterment of mankind.

The false-tone low Eb on my Holton is so good that I'd prefer to play it in any case. I've never wished for a 5th valve on a BBb.

I have, on rare occasion, wished for a sixth valve on F tuba, however. Were I going to add valves to an instrument, the rotary F would be first in line.
