Cleaning & polishing question

Hi everyone. I just got a used King K-90 contra. I bought it, sight unseen, from California (I'm in NJ). That monster sounds GREAT, but it's a 20 year old marching horn, and it looks it. The contra is silver plate, and does have most of the plating left. (I'm hoping to get and overhaul/replating out of next years income tax refund).

Anyways, it's been quite awhile since I've had a silver plated horn, so I want to get opinons on what's the very best stuff to use for cleaning and polishing.

Also, does anyone have any ideas of what replating would cost for a horn this size? (For non-corps people, think 5/4 sized tuba).

Thanks eberyone. Take care.
Bill
