Well, I guess it's nice that some people are taking the time to politely explain to you why scales are important.
But I want to know why a CHILD feels that he needs to make an adult (particularly his teacher), "realize" anything? He is your teacher and elder. Although it's OK to disagree, you keep it to yourself until you are in a position to "make him realize."
As far as parents who think they know better then a trained professional - no comment.
