The soloists are excellent and the Depaul wind ensemble does a fantastic job!!
When I bought the CD last year I emailed Mr. Cooley, since the picture on the CD jacket shows him with his Walter Nirschl York copy. His reply was that those works required an F tuba and he used a PT-15. The big Nirschl is used for large orchestral pieces.
