Last night at a basketball game I get todl the tubas want me, So I look over and hes holding the bit that the gooseneck goes into that hooks to the valve section, away from the valve section..

Apparently it just came off...

When I get my own horn, Unless by some chance I go to a CC I plan to leave it at home and only bring it in for practices close to a concert or contest, or when requested.. the rest of the time I can play the school horn..

If some1 did that to *my* tuba i'd be severely hacked off, more so if it was caused by them goofing around and not a innocent accident..

O not to mention, im pretty sure that alot of the brass players at my school dont' realize the *pop* off a valve when u yank a slide all the way out after being told to pull out cuz ure sharp.. is not good for the instrument, or laugh worthy.. sigh o well..
