If you are looking for a school in the eastern US, Tenn. Tech would be one of the best choices you could make. Winston Morris is by far one of the finest tuba teachers in the country and has loads of students playing professionally and teaching at universities all over the country. The University of Southern Miss. Also has a great tuba teacher, as well as Auburn University, U of Alabama and LSU. Any of these schools would be a fine place to learn.
