Yes, this is public domain material and many parts are from some orchestra's library (they even have some markings on them). Don't think you are buying music, you are paying for someone to scan 7000+ pages of music, organize it and put it on a CD ROM. That is a lot of labor! As more of these are sold, Gordon adds to the library - for example the latest update had Holst's Planets which just became public domain this year. As more are sold, more becomes available. VW #2 was also in the update.
This is a bargain for $89 - I have not used my old Brown Excerpt books since I got this to the point that I'm considering selling all 10 volumes.
