The only thing "athletic" is really the solo in the Mahler.
It isn't all that hard, just in the mid upper register and highly exposed.
The Saint Saens shouldn't be all that hard based on his other tuba writing. Basically if you can play securely from c above the staff to F below (not one pace but four ledger lines) you should be fine.
