Understand that the 2x4's themselves will transfer the sound to all adjacent areas of the house unless they are isolated accoustically. Think of the walll as a drumhead, where the vibration from one side of the head is carried through to the other. What you need to do is create a break in the "head" by either framing up a double studwall and weaving the insulation between both sides [impractical, as you already have the studwall up] or by installing a layer of foamboard [something about 1/2" thick] over one face, then hanging the sheetrock over that with longer screws than normal. This creates an accoustical break which will do a great deal to help with your noise problem, and is not very expensive, to boot. The doors should be solid and have accoustical panels glued to one face to prevent transfer through that, too. Also, install a good quality sweep on the bottom of the door. Use an accoustically rated ceiling tile, not just a cheapie from that big box store.Be a little concerned that you might need a fresh air intake if the room is kept sealed tight.Insulate the ceiling joists with the unfaced R-19 or R-30 batts. Any questions, e-mail me off-list if you need to.
