The PT 48 is huge 33.5 mm, much much bigger than a Bach 18 at 32.10mm. It is a good mpc, but not for everyone, it is very focused for such a large mouthpiece. Lately though I am leaning toward more moderate sized mouthpieces around 32.5 mm diameter, Curry 128DH, MF2, DW 1L, PT34 etc. Your mileage may ( and probably will ) vary.
