Why do I ask:

I have a Willson EEflat with a compensating 3+1 set up (it looks nothing like the 2829 on the Willson web site though: more of a miraphone shaped bell and flare).

From what I've heard (from Matt Walters, and reading this board), the 3+1 set up is unpopular in the US. I understand that English players use B+H or Besson tubas in the main, and as there are many similarities (ie the 3+1 set-up, and the compensation), I felt that England might be a better market.

As I'll be travelling to England next year, I might save the cost of freight (I've had lots of luck in flying with tubas internationally without being hit with excess baggage fees).

Please feel free to let me know if I'm misguided in any of these points,

Ian Easton
