I too enjoyed Dr. Bowman's recital. I loved the Broughton Friday night! The last chord resolution of the second movement was brilliant! Tim Northcut was incredible with the Army Orchestra!
Gene Pokorny's masterclass was a highlight for me. I laughed and cried all at once, and it sure made me think about my career in new ways. (I never felt old at 27 like this before, but Mr. Pokorny did a truly amazing job of putting musical life in perspective!) That masterclass happened at a time when I needed some guidance, it was very moving.
Definitely thanks to all the people involved in making this happen. Also special thanks to Neal Corwell for selling me the very last shirt!!! (0:
