A search of this BBS told me that an old number C4 = TU23 with the new numbering system (I don't know for a fact that's right).
www.miraphone.de has this to say for the TU23:

Marcinkiewicz's comprehensive measurement chart shows a few that are shallower than 36.9 mm:

That chart is one of the reasons I play Marcinkiewicz's (other than the fact they seem to work for me) since it is soooooo easy to see if they have something in the dimensions i'm looking for (rather than just saying "deep" or "very deep" or other such nonsense like a lot of other manufacturers). Of course, i just noticed that mirafone has pretty much the same info on their site.
