Wow!!! I haven't heard of this piece since I was in High School in the 70's. I played the 1st movement way back when. I really remember it more as a technical exercise than having alot of intrinsic musical value. In fact, it was originaly for trumpet. It was alot of fun to work up, lots of notes, very impressive sounding. Probably better choices.
