I played Eb for 20 years and just bought a used MW46 F two weeks ago. It took about a week to learn the fingerings. Except for the low D-Db-C, it's great. It's the high tuba sound I've been looking for. If it a "German" F sound you want, get a "German" F. BTW, I'm keeping my Eb.
