Why not scroll down to the Joe S posting on the Miraphone Eb bell? I think that if you were to find a decent 24" recording bell, you might be able to work the conversion he describes. Just don't get one of the German recording bells--they seem to be rather shallow in profile. A friend built an upright out of a 22" B&M recording bell and it looked more like a birdbath than a bell. My friend, BTW, just made his own upright section out of sheet brass.
