The Audio Technica 822 is the one I have and I like it. It is a lot better than the sony $100 mic I used to have. Don't bother with the AT 825 unless you have a need for a balanced connection. You will pay an extra $100 for it and you probably will not need the balanced inputs just for recording yourself.
