fun piece! I played it last summer for about 150 high school kids and their teachers, and they all loved it.
It's certainly not "sensitive to the various qualities of each instrument", though! Part of the humour in the piece is that the parts are so horribly written, and ill suited for each other. All in all, though, it's still fun to play and fun to hear.
