A number of years ago I owned a PT-10 with really sluggish valves, I was getting to the point where I was ready to sell. By chance I was looking round an electronics shop called Tandy, that sold 'radio shack' products. I found a needle oiler called a 'precision lubricator'. Problen solved. It's a mediun thich oil with teflon in it! ans something that makes it stick better, soit lasts for ages and is really smooth. Unfortunately they stopped importing it to the UK.
As for compensating valves I use Al Cass oil. I tried Binak but the valve is too long
(too much surface area)and actually stopped moving.
