The only other thing that I can think of is temporarily moving to a mouthpiece with a narrower cup opening. That will support your embouchure more and require less work from the muscles of the mouth. If that is successful, you could use that mouthpiece for a few weeks and then try alternating between that one and your normal wider-cupped mouthpiece.
To me, this is sort of like the idea of putting an elastic band around your arm when you have an inflamed tendon in your elbow... ' just something to take off some of the stress until recovery occurs slowly and naturally.
