When I had an 822, I had very good success with a Dillon Sheridan S1. I also used a Yamaha Jim Self which gave it a slightly larger feel, more like a CC. The Bobo symphonic is also a good choice for that horn. Slightly smaller than the Jim Self cup, if you find that one too big.

As for the range.........I suggest Roger Bobo's book, "Mastering the Tuba". It's a full diet of exercises that can extend your register in both directions and improve your endurance. Anyone who's ever worked out of that book or has ever attended one of Maestro Bobo's masterclasses knows exactly which study is for the high register......yikes!

I find that the best thing for endurance is just smart practicing and breaking up your practicing into seperate sessions. If you try to do 3-4 hours a day in one sitting, you won't last nearly as long (or as effectively) as if you were to space it out over the course of your day.
