There are many reasons to congratulate this amazing man, but one was very evident this weekend.
Congrats goes to the winner and runner-up at the US Army Field Band audition--both from the UNT studio.
Special congrats to Brian Bowman, an amazing teacher of some fabulous players (and people, I might add...). Dr. Bowman's students have won 5 of the last 6 premier military band spots, plus one of the few civilian euph jobs in the country (River City Brass Band)
If this is not definitive proof his abilities as a teacher, and to the program at UNT, then you cannot possibly be convinced of anything by anyone....
Congrats again to a wonderful man and teacher, and to UNT.
