It's a shame that you blew off a rare opportunity. Not everyone gets an audition like that. It must not really mean very much, or you would have spent a couple of bucks and gotten the book. Don't go unprepared, as you'll ruin your chances for a future audition. Cancel and see if you can reschedule. If you go and screw it up, you'll never get another audition. They want responsible, mature players, not a procrastinating slacker. You would have to play catch-up now or sightread, and it will show. They will dismiss you with prejudice. Do it at a later audition when you can nail it.
