Good story. Another B.R. story. Buddy Rich gave a concert in a large hotel ballroom that me and my wife attended. This was probably in 1982 or there abouts. The guy working the spotlight was shining the light on Buddy and Buddy did not like it. He suddenly stopped playing in mid music, stood up and told the lighting guy where to go and what he could do once he got there. Then he threatened to walk off stage if the light came on again. Other than that it was a pretty good evening.
