I can tell you from first hand experience unless the police have taken the horn or otherwise, the pawnshop will more than likely hold on to the horn until proof of ownership has been established by court of law. Trust me, ever since the horn I have was originally stolen by a person who lived in Maryland, I kept the horn the whole time during all the legal proceedings.
