I second Dave Fedderly. He's one of the very best teachers out there right now. I don't know how much he costs now...maybe in the $80-100 range. It was $70/hour four years ago. Baltimore is only about 45-60 minutes from DC, unless the traffic is bad. I am from DC. David Porter of the Air Force Band is a very reputable teacher as well. Many of his high school students are very successful (Air Force Band, Juilliard, etc.). I don't know his going rate. Have fun!
