I may have the opportunity to purchase a used B& S PT3. The horn was purchased new in the early 90s and has been in storage for the last 2 1/2 years (unplayed). The horn shows minimal signs of wear cosmetically, but one valve is frozen and two are sluggish (an acid bath is probably in order).
My question: What is the fair market value of this instrument. I want to make a reasonable offer but don't want to get taken advantage of either. Thanks for your help!
