Decide what skills you need to focus on and divide your practice time among them. For example, you might want to spend 30% of your time working on sight reading, 20% on scales and arpeggios, 40% on polishing certain works, 10% on improvising or working with a tuner. The fractions that you choose are up to you and/or your teacher, and should not be set in stone. The point is to have something to focus your attention on when you practice, but not always the same thing. (Harvey said it better, but I can't recall his exact wording.)
