Hey, I understand. I'm sure you knew I was allowing for those types of exceptions as well. I am very fortunate to have flat teeth, fairly straight. Certainly not Hollywood, though. Just a curious rambling- did you start on tuba, or something else? Not all band directors start out kids the same way, but mine (many years ago) said that, because of my straight teeth and long arms, I should play trombone (no tuba in 5th grade band; switched in 6th grade when I 1st heard the sound). He would not budge on his decision, even though the t-bone section was quite full. No Offense intended, just curious. One of my best friends in college was quite orally disadvantaged, but was one of the best players I have known, so I know it's not a handicap, as my old bd apparently believed.
