I have several of them around in the attic. There seems to be big pitch problems with all of them and the low register gets real doggy around the Bb. None of this seems to be too unusual for any big Eb from this era and some of it may be due to leaky pistons. The best ones of this genre that I've found are the Holtons and Kings. The older big Conns(ca. 1915)with the tuning slide after the valves and some with a smaller 18" bell seem a little better in these respects. Just my observations of maybe about a dozen of these that I've owned or played on for a while.
