This was made in about 1954. Olds moved the factory from L.A. to Fullerton in 1955. The Ambassador was their entry level or student line of instruments, although they were better than many other makers student line of horns. I played an Ambassador baritone horn/euphonium years ago that was as nice as any similar horns (3 valve, bell front) I have played.

Even so, the value on these is not that high. At auction it would probably sell for between $150 - $300, because of the F attachment. I have seen Olds Special and Studio models, which were pro level horns, sell for as little as $75 on that auction site. The Recording and Super models would be worth much more. It might sell for as much as $400 in a music store. It's not old enough to have that much historical value except maybe to an Olds collector.
