I use Al Cass and strongly encourage my students to use it. Its solvent base seems to work well with high school students who think it's okay to slurp soda and who regularly eat candy just before picking up their horns. It doesn't have any heavy petroleum distillate stink, and it doesn't gum up if you are away from your horn for a weekend (or more). I've even used it in a pinch to quiet down noisy rotor valves on my Chur-vay-nee.
